Bundled by tile, wood, carpet, brick, stone, outdoor and miscellaneous. The Sims 3 - All floors are rugs, under Decorative > Rugs. 8x8 nonseamless floors are rugs, under Decorative > Rugs. The Sims 2 and The Sims 4 - seamless 4x4 floors are found under the flooring section. You can also change the model of the rugs to make them smaller or bigger if you wish.Īnimal Crossing: New Horizons collection files for The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 are updated here You can refer to this UV scaling tutorial I made here if you don’t like the scaling of the floors I chose.
My goal is to keep the appearance it had in New Horizons to allow people to recreate their favorite Animal Crossing character’s homes, while keeping our freedom in the Sims. I hope I made the best decision to handle this conversion.
I believe I could do it for the Sims 2 and Sims 4, no idea about Sims 3 though. That’s something I will have to work on and learn. Touch device users can explore by touch or with swipe gestures. When the auto-complete results are available, use the up and down arrows to review and Enter to select. See more ideas about sims 3, sims, i am game. Also, if you’ve played New Horizons you’d know some of these are supposed to be animated. Explore us board 'The Sims 3 CC walls&floors', followed by 227 people on Pinterest. Create-A-Style is left enabled to allow ease to choose between swatches when its placed down, but I used an overlay for accuracy, so you can’t actually change how they look. Unfortunately, this means ALL of them are rugs in The Sims 3. The Sims 3 was worse with this, because I could not figure out a way to change the scaling. The seamless ones are floors, and I changed the scaling from 1 to 4 to give it the same appearance as it would in Animal Crossing, which worked out quite well. I did this because I originally had them as regular floors and scaled them by 8, but this didn’t allow freedom of where the pattern was placed. A workaround I did for the nonseamless floors was to use 8x8 rugs, so not all of these are actual floors. Animal Crossing uses a 1024x1024 texture that stretches across the entire floor, while the Sims works in a tile by tile system. While we do not guarantee these items, they are the only items of CC that we trust enough to regularly use and feel confident in endorsing. I thought converting the floors would be easy, but it was a lot more difficult than I anticipated. Looking forward to seeing what you all have done with these mods.Hey everyone! After seeing the recent anniversary of New Horizons on March 20th, I wanted to do something about it. I hope some of you will enjoy these also. I loved being able to do a Ramadan (3 sim days of fasting and being thankful) and Eid al-Fitr (fasting, feeling thankful, inviting others and grand meal) holiday with them! Note how the poses are somewhat awkward (and are clearly not made for child models haha!), but I still love using them for roleplaying purposes. Here's a screenshot of Salim Benali with his wife Pearl and their son Ismael doing their evening prayers. Hijab set Prayer rugs Salah/Salat poses Andrew's studio (required for the poses) I've found some CC resources to help with that and I'm sharing my finds here, because I'm assuming that I can't be the only one who wants this and I'd love to see more diversity in the Sims. My only problem with that was that I couldn't get a nice hijab for the ladies of the household and that they couldn't express their devotion in prayer. Inspired by the Seasons pack, in which 'fasting' is an option to do during a holiday, I decided to play a muslim family.
